Advice -Extra bonus funds in an account for no reason?!?
Ok, I just checked an old account of mine which I had withdrawn all my money from. For absolutely no reason whatsoever, I have a 100 Euro bonus. I haven't deposited with them recently. I only deposited once with a very small amount and received the bonus already. I'm actually SLIGHTLY up on them (About 50 or 60 euro or something, not much).

So, is it worth contacting them to tell them or question the bonus OR should I just spend the funds and hope for the best? What would you do? It's probably not worth spending the funds is it because if I do win, they'll just say it was credited in error and not pay. I also wouldn't have a leg to stand on because I would basically be taking a shot at them (Ive prob just answered my own Q) May be I'm not and it's a genuine bonus, I just can't see ANY reason why I got it.

    Cheers

I have had a couple of books do that. It's worth playing. What do you have to lose?

It's a bonus for inactive customers as a way to get you active again. They are expecting you to lose your bonus and then re-deposit again.

      Good luck to ya!

You already answered your own question. Report the extra funds, the book might not allow you to keep any winnings since it wasn't your money to begin with. Be honest here, you want to always stay in good graces with your books.

True, true. Why not just spend it and hope for the best. The rollover is probably 30x or something like that. You don't get free money for nothing! I just don't want to win loads (prob not going to happen) and then be denied. Ah well, may as well see how it goes.

Cheers for the help guys, much appreciated

I've gotten bonuses like that before and asked them about it and was told it was an inactive bonus. But listen to Razz, report it first. THEN go have fun and make it last!

Ok, I have reported it and things are getting even stranger. It's apparently a Casino bonus from playing in the Casino but I NEVER play in online Casinos. They probably just threw it to me so I would play in the Casino, I dunno. Anyway if it's a Casino bonus, I may as well play it. May throw it on my lucky number in the roulette wheel or something unless anyone has any AMAZING online Casino betting systems! haha.

EDIT: Ok, so it's a CASINO bonus that I got for never playing in the Casino but it can ONLY be used on SPORTS.(which I want)

Cheers for the advice anyway guys

Pretty good. Ok, to finish the thread off. It's a a 100 Euro sports bonus in which I got for never playing in the Casino. A 6x rollover isn't bad on a bonus I don't think I should be getting but after reporting it, they think I do so I can't complain.

It's happened to me a few times.I really mulled it over as what to do and I contacted them and out of the 5 or 6 times it happened, they said thanks for telling us on 3 occassions and let me keep it with just the one playthrough.Like someone said,it's more often bait for you to get back to being a regular depositing customer.

The thing that makes a person worried is that you start thinking some kid got your credit card info.and is just screwing you over losing money for you.

I thought something on the lines of this when I saw the balance. I usually use moneybookers but with these I used my CC. I just checked the account section and saw it was bonus funds so I knew I was ok.

So keep an eye on the threads in the upcoming weeks, you may see one from me complaining about not getting my large winnings from this very bonus
