The Mets and Cubs have to be the biggest disappointments to me. They can only blame so much on injuries.

Seattle and Texas have been surprises, not to mention I never expected my Astros to be churning a profit at this stage of the season.

I was going to mention the Stros as a suprise ... since you did post a thread "Fade the Stros" (or similar) and they are banking nicely.

Mets no doubt are a disappointment.

Ya the Astros also, how are they hanging in there?

San Francisco also can also be mentioned as a pleasant surprise

fish baby, 4 games out with that staff that was decimated after we started 11-1, im liking where we sit PLUS we open up a 3 game series w the phils right outta the gate so we could get it down to only 1 game if we sweep

Year in year out always exceed expectations it seems. Johnson arguably the best young pitcher in the game

Biggest disappointment of course its the mets. Biggest surprise is that the Nats are 35 games below .500. How many leads have they blown this year. Its well in the double digits I'm sure.

Biggest surprise is the Giants, Biggest disappointment for me (being a Jays fan), um, the ****ing Jays. Leading the MLB after whatever and then dropping 9 straight and now basically tanking the season. Not that I didn't see it coming, but for a second I thought they might make the playoffs. For a second.

Florida has been there the last three years or so at the all star break. See where they finish. Same song

                            Holliday plays for the A's.

But yeah, Halladay is probably on the way out or they never would've gone public. Or perhaps Ricciardi is just stupid. Wait, he probably is anyway.

And I agree with Panekk that personally Jays have been really disappointing. Sure, injuries to like the whole pitching staff have not helped and it was supposed to be a rebuilding season anyway. But the inability to win the close games really hurt.

All in all though I think the A's and Indians have disappointed most for me.

surprise - nats have actually won a game this season

disappointment - yankees - big money, big name players with bigger reputations, all the pre-season hype and the same old mediocre results - OVERRATED

Biggest dissapointment....Red Leggins'. With Cueto, Harang, Arroyo and Volquez, they should have a better record regardless of who is hitting.

Biggest surprise....Dodgers being able to not only hold the fort together while Man-Ram was out, but also playing themselves into the division lead by a big margin

I disagree that the Yankees are a disappointment. They are playing pretty well and actually look poised to win the A.L. Wait till the post-season to see if they disappoint.
