I think Lesnar will fight Fedor next year once Brock has a couple more fights. Brock v. Fedor needs to happen, however, if UFC doesnt give Fedor what he wants it will never happen.

Brock is too big when he gets guys on the ground. Someone who can avoid his take downs should be able to beat him. I don't see how he took down Couture with a jab.The idea with Martial artists is that the beach muscles don't help in fights right? So, they should be able to stick and move with a wrestler.

Why aren't there any big dudes in the UFC? 265 isn't unheard of but the guys Lesnar is fighting look like a different weight class. Bobby Lashley was a college wrestler too, he's fighting cream puffs in no-name events.

i doubt you will see fedor fight lesnar in the ufc. white already thinks he owns the world and fedor couldnt give a fukk who he is or what fighters he has. fedor wants a 1 fight deal with no strings attached and white is too fukking stupid to agree to that. i can see lesnar leaving ufc and fighting fedor somewhere else before fedor goes to ufc. that and the fact that fedor hates white anyways.

as far as last night goes...i read where lesnar had to apologize to white for his interview after the fight. fukk white and bud light. the ufc needs lesnar much more than he needs ufc. white got pissed that lesnar dissed bud light and lesnar should have told white to go fukk himself. mir is a fukking chump and without lesnar, the ufc heavyweight division is total dog shit. how in the hell is bud light going to sponsor ufc, but not sponsor the hw champ and largest draw they have??? they deserve to get dissed because they are too fukking stupid to sponsor the people who get the most attention.

LOL @ UFC needing Lesnar more then Lesnar needs UFC. The HW division is soooo much better then what it used to be. Shane Carwin, Cain Valezquez, Mirco Cro Cop, Randy Couture, Cheick Kongo, Antionio Noguria, Frank Mir, Patrick Barry. The HW has come a LOOOOONNNNGGG Way since we had Sylvia Vs Munson for the HW Championship. I know Lesnar has beat Mir, Herring and Coture, but all 3 of those guys play right into his weakness, they all use the ground game as a major part of their arsenal. Lets see what happens when he fights a very good striker. What happens when he faces Shane Carwin who has take down defense and bricks in his gloves ???

I dont care who you are, you dont bash the sponsers, they pay your bills, and you dont flip off the crowd, their are children watching. One thing we have always had going for us is the fact that we are aggresive in the cage, but afterwards we show more sportsmanship then any other athletes because we are martial artist. The first basic of martial arts is discipline. I know its a violent sport, but its still a sport, maintain sportsmanship.

I was excited for Lesnar to come to UFC cause he was a legit athlete with a legit chance to succede, but i am blown away by the way he has disrespected the sport so many have worked so hard to legitimize. For the record, Brock Lesnar needs MMA alot more then MMA needs Brock Lesnar. He needs to remember that

riot, lesnar is a millionaire many many times over and he is the only real hw ppv draw in the ufc. you really think that anyone gives a shit about watching couture vs. nog??? hell no. has there been a single ufc hw fight that anyone has given a shit about since the last lesnar fight??? hell no. maybe the overhyped mir/nog, but now we see that mir is all fukking talk and nog has been in too many wars and is done.

white needs lesnar or else he doesnt have a single freaking hw fight anyone cares to watch and it could be years till he does. ufc hw division is an absolute joke without lesnar. no, mir wont retire because there are still overhyped chumps in ufc that he can beat. i guess i just see things differently, but brock is in this to be champ and to make as much money as he can. he may have slipped up a little bit by dissing bud light, but who can blame him??? how stupid is bud for not paying him??? im sure he was working on a huge deal with them or someone else today. if lesnar isnt on the card, ppv sales are cut drastically. lesnar doesnt need mma. he has plenty of money. without lesnar, its a 1 horse race with fedor owning the division

Well i thank you for keeping this thread civilized, which is sadly a rarity in forums these days.

I think bill parcells said it best when he said "Dont break out the anointing oils just yet"

Brock Lesnar may have one of the best ground games in MMA today. I will give him that. He is the largest heavyweight out there which will help him take down just about anybody. If you look at the short list of people he fought tho , Herring (has never been spectacular in a major orginization, his realy hay day was back in Brazilian Vale tudo) Randy Coture (was equal or greater then lesnar on the ground and scrambling but got caught with that punch that was a result of inacuracy by lesnar + Coture ducking) Then he has dominated frank Mir and Mir caught that kneebar, however Mir has been TKO'd by ju jitsu oriented Marcio Cruiz , in fact off of his loses have come to stronger guys who have out wrestled him. It may sound like im making excuses for all of his wins, but i am not. I am just saying that he has yet prove that he is the best heavyweight out there. He has holes that have not been seen yet. Whats going to happen when a legit striker Tees off on his fave and chin ? He looks very uncomfortable and un natural when striking. His leg kicks were HORRIBLE , even in the footage of him kicking the pads. He does have power in his hands cause of his size, but thats all he has going for him. He has gotten wobbled by weak strikes and i think someone like cheick Kongo or Shane Carwin could KO him inside 20 secs if he isnt carefull. Anyways, im not sure how this post got turned into me criticising the game of Brock Lesnar cause i do feel he has the skills to belong in the UFC , but he needs to quit acting like a baby. Who cares if Budlight wont sponser you, go , kick ass, act mature and give companys a reason to wanna stand behind you. Is it really that hard to believe that a company doesnt want to market the guy who enjoys being the person everyone loves to hate ? If that were the case why not hire Spencer Pratt or Junie Browning ???:?

I respect Fedor as much as anybody, but I don't see him doing well with a man of Lesnar's size and skill. I'd love to be proven wrong.

Side note, I think GSP took another step towards gaining the mythical crown of best pound for pound fighter in the world. The guy is just flawless in the octagon. I want to see him come up and challenge Silva. If he can avoid the clinch (and subsequent knees and bows) and create consistent space for his explosive takedowns, GSP can beat Silva.

I agree with you Ray. As a casual UFC fan Lesnar has the drawing power. A friend of mine who has never ever bought a PPV before bought UFC 100 why Lesnar. Plain and simple. We loved seeing Mir getting his ass kicked for the whole fight. My friend says the next time Brock fights whoever he is buying that PPV. Lesnar is a beast but as a casual fan I can't say he's the best because I haven't watched enough.

I'm not trying to be an ass... but if children are allowed to watch a bloody mess of two men pounding the shit out of each other, then the middle finger shouldn't be that big of a deal. Personally I have no problem with him flicking off the crowd. All those pro-Mir Las Vegas people were booing him, and that probably hurt his feelings! You probably shouldn't dis the big sponsor, but you have to admit it was pretty funny.
