actually the first time the popuar vote elected Gore, you can thank our electoral college for that, and w/o the first election the second one never would have happened so dont be so rash to jump on the anti-american bandwagon, I still have some(little, but some) faith in our election system..

I vote every election, even the local ones when i kow i have no chance in hell. That being said numerous constitutional ammendmants have been introduced in the Congress seeking a replacement of the Electoral College with a direct popular vote; however, no proposal has ever passed the Congress.
