Hello Gaze73, First let me say that I hope you will join us in the picks, after all you started this first. What I mean best bet is: What ever system you use their should be one team or over / under that comes to the top, if their is a tie well then I guess you could flip a coin. I feel sorry if no one has a system they follow. Them people are Called Punters. Bottom line: You need to do your homework and use a system that works for you and what ever team pops out at you THEN PICK IT! Good LUCK

But I wouldn't hold my breath about making stacks in this thread. I think the fact that there is no best bet thread after 10 years is proof enough. Just sayin.

for me in the NBA I pick the game that I see has the most value as my best bet

if I got the Bulls +10 and they are +20 that is a better bet than the Bucks -5 and they are -7.5, so bulls would be my best bet.
for hockey or ML if you got -120 and its +110 that is better than -120 and its +100

Do bookies make 10 point errors in NBA? That's hard to believe. You should be hitting well over 60% with such an edge, but you don't.

Think he was using simply as a comparison

Duke -2 vs Virginia - His system he has Duke -4
2 point differential vs Book in favor of Duke

UNC -6 vs Miami - His system he has UNC -3
3 point differential vs Book in favor of Miami

Michigan -2 vs Wisconsin - His system he has Michigan -6
4 point differential vs Book in favor of Michigan

Michigan -2 is his best bet since it's the highest with a 4 point differential in his favor

Gaze brother dont hate just put your favorite, best, most likely or whatever you want to call it of the plays you got today. if you really think the Siberian Swimmers are gonna dominate and crush the spread, give us that bet, its that easy! I think the NBA is very efficient and I highly doubt there is even a 2 or 3 point difference on sides, NBA is super efficient
