Pretty much I agree Mikey.. Republicans had a chance under Obama to beef up the borders and they didn't get on board.. Dems now have a chance to beef up border security with Trump and they are resisting with the best of them.. Political games being played on both sides - drain the SWAMP!!! Congress sucks ass!!!

American citizens don't want Sanctuary cities and more crime and drugs. I live in a home here in Santa Monica, California 90402 and in the past year I've experienced a home invasion break in during the middle of the night.. Mexican kid. I almost shot him. Had another trying to break in my back door mid afternoon a few months ago. That has never happen to me in the past.

That's what you will get with open borders and Sanctuary cities. I had to beef up the security in my home now.. Light sensors, out side camera's and secure locked gating.. Never had to do that before..

$5 Billion out of $4+ TRILLION budget is nothing. Take that money out of the over $100+ Billion USA gives away to other countries that don't like us. Do they argue this much over the other $4 TRILLION? Government would always be shut down if that was the case. Seal the border so children won't be dragged on dangerous trips. Are you serious.??????? our just nuts....... over 30 years in the federal gov......and this shutdown isn't the first......EVERY TIME THE SHUTDOWN IS OVER>>>>>WE GET PAID>>>>> It ends up being a paid vacation for most....... For me this time around ......I'm not essential......Wildland fire season is over...so I get to relax and enjoy it for once...... yes the last time a shutdown happened.... I worked....no biggie.....got paid.......
People need to have a rainy day fund and plan accordingly... I see a few people sweating things now....but they HAD to have the latest I phone,
go out to lunch every day....walk in to work carting a coffee...etc...should have planned better. Most likely no matter what job they had they would be " paycheck to paycheck".
