Sugarhouse is my top room in that area, Parx easily second. Sports betting not quite there yet. The action should be poppin on a Saturday with plenty of donks (and sharks).

Parx draws more riff raffs than any other casinos I have been to.

But then, AC's Harrah's and Bally's have become the same pretty much.

It amazes how many clueless turds are playing blackjack without knowing the rule, which you can look up on the internet very easily.

What's even worse is that some of them cannot even count what they got and have to ask the dealer what they have. What the hell?!

The worst of them all are the ones doubling on the totals of less than 8 (even though you should never double less than 9 unless it's a soft hand against a dealer's breaking up card) or staying on soft 17.

Sugar House is a smaller casino but the poker room size is about the same or maybe a bit smaller.

I was at Parx last weekend and the wait list for 1-2 game was 19 people. I never played poker at Sugar House, so I don't know how bad the wait list is there on weekends.

Sugar House has a nice sportsbook area with nice big screens and their sports betting is open for business.

I'm up over $6,000 from their sportsbook and possibly $8,000 or down to $3,800 depending on the CFP final outcome.

What I don't like about Parx is that they don't have no mid-shoe entry for $25. it's only for $50 or higher limits in a separate area.

Not everyone is idiot at Parx. It's just that when I was there two days ago, I had nothing but idiots coming to the table I was playing and I swear I lost every time they played it wrong. Sometimes, if people are lucky, they do the dumbest things and they make you win. Not this time as whatever the anchor player did, it made everyone lose badly.

For example, every time he hit 12 against the dealer 2, we lost. Had he stayed on any of them, we would have won every single one of them as he always took the card that the dealer would have broken with.

That same idiot who said proudly that he hits 12 against 2 stayed on every soft 17. What a freaking idiot.

Every time he stayed on soft 17, we all lost but had he hit, we would have won.

He even freaking took a hit on his 12 against the dealer 4 up card saying that when no one hits bad things happen.

Yeah, he took the breaking card for the dealer and once again everyone lost.

At one point, we had 3 players at the table at the same time who all stayed on soft 17. What the fuk?!!!

Of course, we all lost when if any one of them took a hit, the dealer would have broke.

Don't let my opinion stop you from going to Parx.

It's a nice casino and you might have a better crowd when you are there this weekend.

It gets so crowded on the weekends though and I don't know if would even have $15 blackjack tables as they may all go up to $25 at the peak hours.

It depends what you play. I only play poker and Sportsbet a little. If you're talking poker, on a weekday I'd tell you to drive to Sugar for much better action, but on the weekend either is fine. For sports betting I believe Sugar has it now but not Parx white yet.

As far as other games I couldn't tell you, I learned the hard way to stick with only poker .

Here's a good tip for poker - for either room you can call in and get on to the waiting list for up to an hour out, so do that to minimize your wait upon arriving.

SH isn't too bad. It's not dirty or anything. They have just as many bad blackjack players as everywhere else.

They have good choices for food in the casino and it's not too highly priced. I think SH comps you better than Parx.

Wouldn't call it a dump but Parx is nicer especially with the new layout. I always enjoyed the vibe more at Sugar.

That being said the drinks are free at Sugar in the poker room which leads to crazy action. Fun if you wanna get drunk cheap as well.

Honestly, either casino is fine for any gambling; whether it's blackjack or poker.

I don't think it's worth the drive for 30 minutes to SH just to gamble unless you just want to check it out or to make a sports bet.

I'm going there sometime tomorrow to place my bet and pick up the winnings from last week.

Heck, I might head straight to AC after I pick up my winnings since I booked a room there for three full weeks all comped for my parents and they are there right now.

Then, I can place my bets at Ocean while there as they have a very nice sportsbook with giant TV's.

Sands is ok, I saw the bad beat hit there and that was cool. Definitely not better than Sugar or Parx though.

What wasn't cool was someone stole my plug in phone charger and security told me they couldn't get a good look at who did so I had to buy one from their store which was like thirty bucks. I know that Sugar's superior security staff would NOT have let that happen to me.

Yeah man bottom shelf for free but you can't argue with the price (I always tip a buck). I used to bomb whiskey shots all night long at Sugar. If you want to pay you can drink higher quality stuff.
