    four months for $2,000

    12.28.2006 (08:06 PM CST)

BetCSL (SBR rating D) player waiting over four months for $2,000 and claims the sportsbook will not respond to emails. The sportsbook’s hosting company, Capilleira, confirms the payout request took place in August. Capilleira will be expected to help facilitate payment from the webmaster or stand for these funds. SBR to update on CSL as situation unfolds.

      Capilleira

This Capilleira operation is starting to smell. They hosted Dragon Wager which goes offline and stiffs it's customers. Now Bet CSL another site that Capilleira hosts is not paying it's customers. When is Capilleira going to be held responsible for their websites??

To make matters worse Capilleira comes out with two new books, WagerWagon and HitWager. Are these the same owners just reopening under a new name?

Call Larry at Capilleira, he acts like he knows nothing. I think any book related to Capilleira and Larry should not be avoided including WagerDaily .

There are some threads on this relationship. Capilleira also hosted 4Sportspicks and Ewinner. They always said that the C- books were theirs but after DragonWager they said they were taking responsibility for all accounting for these turnkeys. They are getting the smell test right now... shit

Seems to me if anyone of their books is in slow pay or no pay mode, they should be rated a lot lower than a D. I would think any book not paying should be an F, and slow paying should be an E-

The D ratings group seem to have some decent books with no complaints about them at all, so to lump a NON PAYING or SLOW PAYING book in the same category makes no sense IMHO

I too am an unfortunate player waiting 7 months for a payment from BetCSL. I have spoken with Larry of Capilleira enough times in the last half a year to know that he is not entirely truthful. I also feel a software provider should be held to some standard. Capilleira is an accomplice in this. They know full well that that they have sportsbooks using their software and not paying yet they do nothing about it.

No, but I will right now. I will forward my string of emails I have had with them as well. Kind of interesting reading if you like to read different excuses from one side and progressively more desperate emails from the other. Thanks bigboydan.

It seems these same type threads involving Larry and Capilleira/Central Valley Technologies pop up every few weeks. Larry and his wife Cindy who run the aforementioned companies are possibly 2 of the biggest crooks to ever hit Costa Rica. They open these books and if things go bad just play it off as if they were simply providing turnkey service when in reality they are the books themselves. Avoid these people at all costs. I have friends in British Columbia who know all about Larry and the scams he ran here before being exposed and moving to Costa Rica in search of other scam victims.
