Would you say a 22 oz stout is as good as a meal?

Had a 22 oz stout at Boston Beerworks tonight. Threw in a few nachos and I seem all set for the night. Anyone else have stout for a meal occasionally?

To answer Reload's question, I do skip a meal whenever I'm having 2 or more pints of stout. It's not that caloric, but it makes you feel full and somewhat bloated for hours.

There was a study done years ago that claimed a man could indeed survive for a long while on nothing but Guinness and bananas. A Geordie I know tried it for a long weekend one time, only he subbed curry chips for the bananas.
