Last night during the show I had asked him if he was close to Glencoe.. He said he has never heard of it and he was only familiar with Chicago.....
I only asked because that is where I lived, there and Springfield. Everyone I know from Chicago knows Glencoe very well, was shocked when he said he had never heard of it... oh well

I like Chiarchie, don't get me wrong here, I just thought it was a little odd. I was just making friendly conversation, I am originally from Illinois and lived in Glencoe and Springfield.... If you live in Chicago you know Glencoe, it was weird and just threw me off.. no big deal though.... maybe he didn't hear what I said correctly who knows?

been here in Chicago 5 years... still don't know where or what glencoe is.... I know almost all the suburbs out west and some on the south... I live right near Pulaski and Roosevelt... I'm pretty sure i've shown some street signs in some of my first vids, been to wrigley, hawthorne, showed the sears tower, white sox game,....and about 8 other vids on the streets... so maybe I just visit Chicago alot

I've lived in Chicago 29 years and I've never heard of Glencoe. I've heard of Glen Elyn, Glenwood, Homer-Glen, but never Glencoe. Never been thru the town of Glencoe. I'm a Southsider and Glencoe has to be North/Northwest.
Hey Illini, you ever heard of Burbank,Bridgeview, Oak Lawn, Midlothian, Oak Forrest, Alsip, Posen, Robbins, Frankfort, Monee, Mokena, Crete, Steger, etc.
My point is these are all southside villages that many Northsiders aren't familiar with and many people that are new to Chicago don't spend much time outside the city limits. I'm betting you never heard of one or two of these towns, and that you've never drove thru 5 of them.
I have to believe Archie's a proud Chicagoan, but I'm wondering what your doing living by Roosevelt/Pulaski. That's a pretty rough neighborhood there.
