Taking Willie Bee Down

Me and Willie have a friendly running beer bet going here in the office. We pick baseball games by the following rules;

+150 to -150 = 1 beer
+/-150 to 199 = 1.5 beers
+/-200 to 299 = 2 beers

etc. When one of us is in the hole 6 beers, we owe the other a 6-pack.

Due to my terrible handicapping and luck, I find myself in the hole 5 beers today. One loss away from owing Willie Bee another 6-pack.

I've decided if I'm going down, I'm going down in flames.

It's an EIGHT BEER WAGER.

Willie could see a 5 beer lead turn into a 3 beer deficit in one foul swoop.

Yeah, supposing I took the other side of that (San Fran +2.5, -1250) and it won, I'd win one beer. If I lost, I'd lose 12 beers, thus owing Willie two six packs (and still being 5 in the hole )
