#119My brother-in-law has MS, probably going on 30+ years since his diagnosis. It has slowly progressed, but there are new med's out recently that seemed to have helped him lately. It's a monthly shot, that's all I know. Try to find younger doctors, those who are more inclined to know the latest trials and drug improvements. He still works part-time, as he went on disability long ago but still drives and such. His speech sucks, and I know it's frustrating for him- but his attitude remains good and he hasn't lost his sense of humor. I'm wondering how much CBD could improve your symptoms, as it does reduce inflammation in the body???Comment -

#122Dang , hate hearing those results badger .
Just don't get down , I know it's easier said than done with not a great outlook but it will make a huge impact thinking positive no matter what .
I got cancer at 35 , Dr telling me I was too young , was thinking cancer knows no numbers nor does it care , Iuckily got it in time , got an organ removed ,also luckily I told them to take the entire kidney or I wouldn't have gotten rid of it all , but was in the blood vessels not just the tumor . So removing it entirely probably saved my life .
I lived miserable in deep depression for the next year . The simplest of any hurt , abnormal feeling , my mind took over telling me , it's back . It was controlling my every thought , every day .
I finally got to the point of telling myself , I can't live my life miserable and depressed , I changed my thinking not allowing my mind to control me , rather I control my mind . It's the best thing I could've ever done . I finally got over the depression part that was beating me down daily .
Not to say it won't come back but it's been 9 years , so I'm hoping I'm lucky enough to not have to deal with it again , so far .
Keep your head up , hoping you can control your mind over it controlling you , it's difficult but stay positive man .
Best of luck moving forward badger .Comment -

What a shitty few months this has been for me.
I found my way back in the hospital last night. I’m having a MS “flare up” they call it. My whole lower body has decided not to work. I have lost all strength and loss of sensation in my legs. I can only feel the floor when I’m standing. I can tell when I have to take a piss but I can’t tell that I’m actually going.
Ive been missing out on work again due to the symptoms and fatigue. It’s just been a real struggle since August.
Fuk MS

#126Thanks men.
Today will be day 4/5 for the steroid infusions.
Had physical therapy about a hour ago. Left side is still very weak and not responding. Left foot stays when I walk. They asked me about being discharged to a rehab facility tomorrow. They think it will be much safer since I’m at a high risk for a fall. I just got out of ten weeks of intense physical rehab. I don’t want to go back.
Just my luck tgus happens right at the end of the year so the bills can pile up even higher. What’s messed up is this one clinic wanted me to pay 10% of the bill each month. That started off at $485. I said I couldn’t afford that and gave them $200. The following month I got a letter in the mail from collections. Those a-holes!!!
Sorry just venting. Sitting in these rooms alone makes you think. Kinda sad.
But ill keep fighting. Guarantee you that much. Fuk MS!Comment -

#128Well was released today from the hospital after five steroid infusions. Was determined it was not safe enough to return home as my walking, strength and balance in my lower body is still not safe. I am now at a rehab facility that I previously spent ten weeks at.

#140Just finished first week of therapy. It went ok. I only had one fall. It shouldnt of happened but the therapist wasnt paying close attention to me and I lost my balance. Just a few bumps and bruises.
I just talked with my neurologist. He talked to the MS specialist down at Mayo in Rochester, MN. I will be going on a medication called Ocrevus. Its an IV infusion. The first dose is two separate infususions done two weeks apart. After that its every six months. But I need to travel a few hours away to Rochester because there are no infusion centers around me. Thats what I get for living in the middle of bum fuk Wisconsn. Holy shit though, each infusion cost about $32,000! What the fuk. Highway robbery. Tonight I will be doing more research and watching youtube videos on Ocrevus. Pass the time while being in these stupid hospitals.Comment
