    Where to stay in Vegas?
In October Im going to Vegas for the first time. I will be going with a buddy of mine. Can someone recomend a place to stay that would be fun, maybe some eyecandy and close to a sportsbook?

If it makes a difference, we will probably be at the pool a lot during the day.

    Thanks guys,

    BW

The HARD ROCK.............best eye candy of any pool in Vegas, bar none.

Two blocks off the strip though, not an ideal location.

On the strip, look into the Venetian, Treasure Island, or the Mirage.

Another good location two blocks off the strip would be THE PALMS.......very hip and some of the best video poker in town with many +ev machines.

All things considered, I've liked Venetian the best. And you could probably get a package with decent rates in October. Lots of eye candy and some nice pools - especially California girls there. A classy and fun place to always stay - even the lowest end suites are very nice.

Go to www.i4vegas.com This place is great!!!!!!It's like a stock exchange for Vegas vacancies only and it's very common to find major places going for under $20 a night.I think they handle reservations for every place in town where if they have surplus rooms, they discount the hell out of them. And you can make reservations already for months ahead of time.Vegas is hurting and they want people to fill the vacancies and are will to give you great deals.I got a Sunday night room at Fitzgeralds the day the bash ends in August for $21 with tax and all.

Best pools would be Hard Rock,Mandalay Bay,Flamingo & Mirage.Downtown The Golden Nugget.I can't stand M Bay though.I still think The Mirage is a great pool
                & sportsbook.
