I'm looking at this 46-12 half-time score and thinking is this a legalization makes it easier to point shave issue?.
BTW, I remember a game where LSU had North Carolina down 21-9 at the half. But Dale Brown was the coach and that lead was quickly erased about 5 minutes into the second.Comment -
Good god guys, I’m sorry for this disaster today. Looks like the fact that Hawaii tourney was more than a week ago made no difference as both bucknell and Indiana st obviously did not bring their best efforts. I really thought that much time since the tourney would make it not important but clearly that wasn’t the case.,
Bucknell came out and scored 13 fukkin 1st half points against a really bad army defense. It’s hard to regret that play after seeing them win the 2nd half 51-26!! That what the whole damn game should have looked like!! Just fell too far behind and end up winning by 1 and losing the spread by 3. Crazy.
Obviously Indiana st was playing a better team so there was no rebounding from a 12 point 1st half by them (just sick). They played the 2nd half virtually even so I think it pretty fair to say coming off the Hawaii trip absolutely effected both teams more than I realized. Good call by capy as that was clearly the case in these 2 Games.,,
We had the sooners/ku game pegged to a tee I think but ended up not even making a play. As I mentioned was just waiting to see if we could get more points before hitting under and I never got back to it. Just dumb.
The one bright spot was the Texas/k-st was the shitfesst we expected and stayed well under.,
Hopefully we can get the over in Nevada.
I hope some got a better number than me on Nebraska as I saw some +2s and 2.5s after I had already played them +1.5., don’t think this was a bad play but have to check the box score and play by play last few minutes as I stepped away and didn’t get to see the end..

The 2 teams we played coming off the Hawaii tourney scored a combined 25 damn points in the 1st half., unreal. I don’t think it was point shaving I think Capy was right and they appeared to still be day dreaming of tropical beaches I guess. Both come out and play respectable 2nd halves, bucknell even winning but not covering but they obviously had a much weaker opponent than the sycamores who ain’t gonna be able to overcome a half like that.,Comment -

Feel like I’m even more aggravated that bucknell dominated the second half and won without covering. Fukkin pricks just showed us what could have been if they didn’t sleep walk thru the 1st half. I can’t wait to look at that box score to piss me off some more! Can’t imagine any team has ever been held to 13 in 20 minutes vs freaking army?! Not only are they bad defensively but they also play really fast so can only imagine how bad bucknell shooting percentage was or how many turnovers they had?Comment -
Both of them did. As me and Capy discussed I really believed the fact it been over a week since that tourney and both their opponents were on longer layoffs that it wouldn’t be a factor. Clearly I was wrong.
Guess I’m just gonna chalk it up as a costly lesson and add it to my notebook, NO PLAYING TEAMS THEIR 1ST GAME BACK FROM HAWAII TOURNEY NO MATTER HOW MUCH TIME HAS LAPSED!!!Comment -

Pen st/Michigan under 128
Always a fan of big10 grind it out affairs and this looks like a textbook one here.. no secret bout Michigan, they play some of the best defense I’ve seen in the country this year and they also among the slowest pace teams in the country sporting a adjusted tempo that ranks 334th!!
What some may not know is pen st playing some upper level defense in their own right. 24th in the country in defensive efficiency and coming in at 256th in tempo.
The closest thing the nittany lions have faced in pace and defensive efficiency was a game at Maryland where the could only muster 59 points in a 7 point loss. Michigan plays slower than the Terps and obviously they play better defense overall. Don’t expect to see pen st scoring much more than 50 in this contest! (Possibly 55 at most).
On the other side the closest Michigan has faced to the defensive ability and tempo of pen st was a game at NW where they escaped with a 62-60 win. I think at home wolverines prob be good for a few more here but don’t see them reaching 70, somewhere from 65-69 is where i have them. Add it all up and think we see a score similar to Texas/k-st where it takes everything both have to get this above 120 and not much more..Comment -

I just walked in door right on time to see that unreal ending. 1st pen st like assholes decides to play the foul game w minute left down 10, ok I guess fine. Then down 11 or 12 they miss about 6 shots in a row! Then foul again with under 30 seconds (give up already!). So Michigan only hits 1 ft. Psu kid goes length of court and has uncontested bunny at the rim and little prick doesn’t even hit the rim! Unreal, shoulda cash under and side.Comment -
I generally don’t play dogs of 8 or less unless I feel they have ok shot at winning, or in other words expect it to be tightly contested enough we don’t get foul game (or maybe only last trip when clock under 30 seconds).
What I like bout playing dd spreads is cause theoretically won’t see lot of foul game when game basically decided when team holding 8-9 point lead under 30 seconds!! Hate when a team drags out one once it clear they beat.
Going back to huskers yesterday now psu and canes I’m on streak of teams that in good position basically 35+ minutes then falling apart on me., ughComment -
