Marquis is one of the best pitchers on the Rockies...10-5 w/ high 3 ERA, that's good.

He is only drafted in about 1/3 of MLB Fantasy Leagues and I just picked him up as a FA today in one of my leagues.

A few complete games and 1 shut out.

Only 4 times out of 16 starts has he allowed 5 or more runs.

Not a strikeout pitcher w/ only 51, but also not a walk pitcher w/ only 36....he gets a lot of ground balls and pop outs.

If he gets at least 4+ runs of run support which the Rockies can easily get of Nationals, he gets easy win tonight.

i really like the giants not completely sold on the rockies mainly because of the price and they have blown 3 run leads back to back days. I pondered this a little GL sammy this is either going to be brilliant or stupid so im hoping for brilliant

yea I know, if either lose, I lose a lot, as long as both teams win, even ML, it will be good.

That's why I doubled on the ML parlay to not have to worry about RL to win money.

If both teams win ML, and lose RL, I still win a little

Marquis has been crap at times in the past especially in 2006, when you watched him Richie... but I think he has turned a corner as he has aged, and figured out how to pitch and not just throw....

Plays looked solid Sammy, hard to imagine a 1 run game in Colorado and the Giants really shat the bed in the 9th. Keep up the good work.
