Examples:

deaf (hard of hearing)
partial blindness
paralysis
multiple sclerosis
lou gherig's disease
speech impetement
HIV or AIDS
cancer
sickle cell anemia
alcoholism
drug addiction


Please be honest, we can be a great support system for you here at sbr. alot of us posters have big hearts... my guess is 99.9% do not have any serious ailments that post on the regular but you never know.

and also do not be offended by this, we mean no harm.

I'll go first. I am 5'11 210lbs and very healthy besides being a pack a day cigarette smoker.

yes nicky we are all very very sick gamblers here. I believe we have a poster here and not curious who is paralyzed from the waist down or doesn't have the use of his legs and is in a chair or scooter and is a power poster and a good capper...

You gotta add me to the list for all the addictions: alcohol, drugs, gambling, and casual sex.

I also haven't had the easiest time socializing for the last few years, but VegasDave (God bless his soul) pointed out to me that the mind rewires itself out of necessity, and that the fact that I moved to a sparsely populated area that's not GLBT friendly has a lot to do with my current awkwardness in social situations.

I look forward to the Bash being a way for me to turn over a new leaf and getting back into the habit of hanging out with people again.
