Covington is average and Saric was nothing special. Butler is a top 15 player. And they didn’t even have to give up a first round pick. Great move by Philly. The real losers are Minnesota. They gave up Lavine, Dunn and the pick that was Markannen for Butler. So they basically traded Lavine, Dunn and Markannen for Covington and Saric.

philly already told butler that they will give him an extension at the end of the year I don't think they would of made the deal if they didn't have some kind of future agreement. That sucks for fultz though they will have 3 max players and wont have any money to give him if his shooting doesn't improve by the end of the year I wouldn't be surprised if they flip him for something in the off season especially since zahire smith is coming back from his "allergic" reaction that caused him to miss all of this year

still not ready for a chip until simmons shoots better. last night embiid had to take the ball up court last two minutes because simmons scared of ft line. people leave him open from the free throw line and beyond. but embiid is next olajuwon with more range. a beast. how they didn't throw fultz in that trade i don't know. would take any pressure off forcing him to play. he is paranoid taking any shot from ft line and beyond.
