As I said I understand there obviously tons of situations where you get more effort from a team, as much as it disturbs me clearly true. Just explaining my mindset and why trying to cap those things is a absolute exercise in futility for myself!! I know several very good situational bettors/cappers, I just don’t happen to be one of them (important to know ones strengths and weakness!).
There were prob guys/teams I played against I liked less than others and it might have brought out a little added dirtiness/nastiness, little extracurricular activity at bottom of pile if ya know what im saying? in general tho I can honestly say I never once took any field or court and didn’t give it everything I had!!
Where I do think it comes into play is I definitely been on teams that were the best the school had in a long time and you could tell as a whole we really started feeling ourselves and lost some that edge in practices and preparation. I have no doubt everyone still gave it their all on game day but some def fell into the trap of believing the hype and thinking we could show up and trounce ppl!!!Comment -
