My first NFL fantasy draft...

I've never done a fantasy sport before. I've been sucked into a rather cut-throat league. 12 players, and everyone one of them (except me) either has a Ph.D., or is getting one. All are fans of football, statistically savvy, and want to crush me.

I hope you guys can give me some help- the draft is Tuesday night. Here's the info on it:

With Passing TD's only being 4 points, and players getting 1 point per reception, you want to target a RB in the first round that catches a ton of passes.

Make sure your RB's in general catch a lot of passes. Guys like Reggie Bush, LaDainian Tomlinson, etc.

I never liked drafts before preseason personally. Do some research on schedules this year and whoever your first pick is just make sure you get someone you can rely on. QB/RB but definitely draft RB heavy. But, when the draft gets into the later rounds dont be afraid to get yourself a solid kicker/defense, if available. Those points will take you far.
And mainly, if Max moves are aloud i would take full advantage of that. No matter what draft class you end up with, roster moves are what always get me in the playoffs.
