Really bad news in Spartanville... Now I think we need Ahrens healthy and Henry to step up to be a real title contender. Langford is a big loss but the team has surprisingly played better without him. I still think MSU is playing better than anyone in the country other than maybe Virginia or Gonzaga... #3 in KenPom, #3 SoS, #1 in Assists, #2 in 2pt FG Defense... special team with still a chance to make history, just sucks tho would’ve been nice to get JL back right before March for a nice boost.

100% agree with your sentiments, Dom...we had this very conversation not too long ago...but hopefully the young guns will step up their game another notch or two and make Sparty a viable final four contender...not since the days of Mateen Cleaves have I ever seen a Sparty team that plays so well together as a team...Izzo has definitely had more talented teams in the past but this team has a resiliency to it and they always hustle, scrap, play defense, get rebounds, etc. (not afraid to do the dirty work) and that might be just enough to carry them for a deep run in March...


PS...kind of weird that Purdue-Penn St game tomorrow opened at 7 and now it's already down to 5.5!...what gives?...the Boilermakers are the far superior team, much better RPI, played a tougher schedule, etc...are the Lions getting too much respect?...is the upset possible?

I'm starting to wonder if someone in East Lansing got paid off...Sparty coming off a humiliating loss and at home is usually money in the bank 99.9% of the time...Indiana is fukkin' garbage...7 game losing streak and arguably the worst team in the Big-10...Mich ST is missing FT's, lackluster effort, missing easy shots, getting outhustled by Indiana on the 50/50 balls, etc...I've never been more disappointed in a Tom Izzo coached team.
