This is one of 3 games I think MSU COULD lose between now and the end of the season. (@Wisconsin, @Michigan the others). But MSU right now is the best team in the country. Just because it feels “trappy” I’m not gonna go against them. The past 3 games were supposed to be traps too. If McQuaid and Ahrens (assuming he’s healthy enough to play tomorrow) can shut down Edwards again like last game then MSU wins this game. I’m not a believer in Purdue this year, they’re too reliant on Edwards and/or 3s and don’t play good D.

If Ahrens plays I think MSU wins this by 5-7. If he’s out I’ll have to pass.

The Mizzou finish is really gonna haunt me. 3.4x swing in the most unbelievable fashion.

Today I had 3 games lose by 2.5 total points combined. And I had a push. Only down a little over 1x today but this one hurts more than any I can remember. I wouldn’t change a thing if I had to redo it all over agin, that’s what’s crazy.

I’m guessing because people don’t trust MU on the road yet, I mean they’ve been winning on the road but they’ve been very close games, and Hinkle Fieldhouse has never been kind to marquette.

Dom, you like Rutgers tonight? As more of a fade of Indiana. Indiana is 0-6 SU & 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games. They’re 2-6 in their last 8 road games and they’re 0-4 in their last 4 Big10 games. It seems like the wheels are falling off for Indiana, and this could be an excellent chance for Rutgers to pick up a conference win on their home court. Thoughts?

I’m so close to pulling the trigger on Rutgers. Indiana is the worst team in the Big Ten. Penn State gives them a run for their money tho. But IU just plays so bad, it’s like watching a couple cocky kids on the playground try to iso and take bad shots over n over. Rutgers should be able to beat them on the boards especially with Omaruyi back in the lineup. If Geo can hit some 3s then Rutgers should pull away with the W. The thing is I can’t count on either team hitting enough 3s here so I think it’ll be a grind it out game for 40 minutes... hmmmm

Really bad news in Spartanville... Now I think we need Ahrens healthy and Henry to step up to be a real title contender. Langford is a big loss but the team has surprisingly played better without him. I still think MSU is playing better than anyone in the country other than maybe Virginia or Gonzaga... #3 in KenPom, #3 SoS, #1 in Assists, #2 in 2pt FG Defense... special team with still a chance to make history, just sucks tho would’ve been nice to get JL back right before March for a nice boost.
