do you stay awake for the entire next day and just fight through the sleepiness so you can fall asleep the next night, or do you give in to the fatigue and just take a nap?

i did not sleep all night thursday night for many reasons, took a 2 hr nap on friday in the day but then fell asleep friday night at 11 pm and slept til 1 pm on saturday night, 14 fukkin hrs and felt like a million bucks when i woke up saturday at 1 pm................now i have stayed up all night again because i was too fukkin well rested

i will watch the fed v andy match of course, but after that should i try and take a nap and get back to my routine of sleeping tonight or should i fight through the fatigue and ensure that i will definitely sleep tonight

sometimes taking a long nap can fukk up another nights sleep cycle

I usually do another line and think about that question again 30 minutes later.

Have been in the situation quite a few times, hoopster. If it is the weekend or I am on vacation, I'll try to take a nap. But if it's a weekday where I have to work, I'll just head to work and try to stay jacked up on whatever I can find to get through the day. Then hope to crash hard when I get home and start getting caught up on sleep.

thanks for the advice everyone. reload, i admire you for trying to get through a work day. i know how tough it is to fight through the fatigue let alone try and work through it. i might down a few cups of coffee this morning to power through the day..

I do that a lot when work gets crazy. What works for me is one or two 30-minute naps during the day. Be sure to set your alarm clock so that you don't fall into deep sleep or you'll be ****ed.

Take 2 Benadryls and a glass of wine once you're ready to resume normal sleep.

McDonald's iced coffee has been pretty good for me in these situations lately. Enough to stay jacked up but not be too jumpy.

you slept 14 hours! Much more of a story than staying up all night....maybe you were dead and came back! I have stayed up all night, felt like crap at least 15-20 times.
