Ben Simmons was a no show, Embid thought he was Step Curry shooting 3's all game, I don't think he made one 3 point make.. Just bricks..

Good thread. Very disappointing player. Most of it because he can't shoot -even coming in to set a screen for Embiid when he's driving rather than get the penetrate out of his way! Also, he's too cool -cool players don't fare well in the playoffs.

Simmons did improve his post play from last year, people don't realize he's only in his second year, his shooting should still be an issue late in games, but we won't likely see that until the second round.

obviously a definite stud so what he isnt a good jump shooter now neither was jason kidd nor magic early on they didnt get berated like this. just think he "cant shoot" and without that he's still a force, does about everything else well. noticed these days you can do a hundred things well and people only want to talk about the one thing you arnt great at its gotten pretty sick these days. he was shooting some mid range in college I remember just needs a boost of confidence. I noticed on his ft's if you watch him when they are showing the ft from under the basket mid way through his shot his left arm kicks out and you can tell thats what makes his shot bad there should be coaches to correct that but they havent bad on them for at least not addressing that

Damn give the kid some time, not like he been around for years. Id think he prob work on his shot next few off-seasons and improve it some. Unless he lazy? I dunno anything bout his work ethic or lack there of. Some guys are content being who they are and being paid, the great ones fix the flaws in their games by working their asses off.
