Serena struggled in her last match and just made it to the Final while Venus breezed by the whole thing. Venus has more Wimbledon titles and threw it so her f'ing sister could have another one.

The reason Venus 'breezed' by the whole thing was because of her level of competition. Dinara Safina would've got blown out by either sister, she already has a propensity to gift away matches the later it gets in Grand Slams, plus the Russian barely got by Liscki the round prior committing over 10 doublefaults.

Serena was definitely more battle tested, Elena Dementieva would have given either sister an incredibly tough match, and Azarenka is a hell of a lot more lethal a match up on grass than Radwanska is against a powerful server. Serena had the tougher road to the finals and pulled it out.
