sorry to past post but i have not been online til now

i made a small play on serena for a few reasons

- the plus odds looked too good in what i thought should be closer to a coin flip

- coming into the match, serena had 60 aces, venus had 27 aces, i thought serena's serve would make a difference

- last yr serena was embarrassed on this court by venus and very frustrated, so i thought that would be in her mind,

- venus subconsciously would remember last yr and take the match a bit for granted

i thought it was clear coming in that you either place a wager on serena or stay off, again, not trying to past post and am admitting that i only put a very small wager, less than 1 full unit on serena, but again in my tennis following mind there was no way to pay the heavy juice on venus when there were some tangibles and intangibles pointing to serena

Venus and Serena's matches are scripted. The winner is pre-determined by them and their father. I said last night for anyone betting Venus to be careful, Serena was "due" a Wimbledon.

Very close match in first set. I don't know if Venus hurt herself, with a few slips that twisted her bandaged knee, but she didn't move as well afterwards.

In any case, betting is not about picking winners, but about finding value.
