I just find it amazing that a sport that has a regular season that lasts forever can't factor in an extra day into the schedule in case of a realistic possibility of a division tiebreaker
Obviously I am insaneComment -

#38No you 100% right, unfortunately these leagues care way more about tv money than whether or not they supplying the best and fairest product.Originally posted by maggiethebestdogCouldn't care less

#39isn't he more of a fastbll pitcher? If he is than it shouldn't be a problem on 3 days. He maybe to strong which would effect off speed more. I think the line is begging you to bet cubs. This has me betting rockies. Wouldn't be first time i been wrong.Originally posted by 2daBankTotally agree. Way too much being made of it imo.. during season when teams have a rough travel/scheduling spot it always gm 2 of the series where I look for it to have a effect, that 1st game I think adrenaline carries you. I recall yanks playing Sunday night game w hours of rain delays then having to play in Tampa next morning basically and their plane didn’t show up till 3-4 in morning and they were fine, granted no time zone in that but so what? At least once a week I pull a all nighter and go to work just fine in morning, sometimes even better, it that next day it catches up!!Comment -

Honestly I’ve never looked into the relation of short rest and what a guy threw, might be something worth looking into (more a future project for me than today, lol). I’m actualy really curious about this as I’ve never thought bout it and just assumed some guys were just capable of pitching on short rest while others weren't w/o thinking of their arsenals (good post), I’ll def dig into that before next season!
Imo it def rox or nothing far as side, I just like the over 7 better. I might mix a rox over parlay in w the over straight.Comment -

#43i played ball growing up with joe nuxhall great grandson. Youngest player toplay mlb. when i grew up hung out with ron moeller sr. 3 youngest guy to ever play in mlb. Both were power pitchers. Both always said the same thing. It has been about 9 years since mr moeller died and i can honestly say i get sad on his death. Still best friends with his son and son in lawComment -
