    Ariza to Rockets
It's almost as if Ariza was traded for Artest...

and the money is similar. Why the heck did Ariza wanna leave so bad??

I heard that they offered Ariza the full mid-level, but he wanted more.. yet he is gonna get the mid-level in Houston possibly..

I think Houston sweetened the length of the deal. The money per year was about the same.

Will Ariza be as good without Kobe??

                I do not think so.

ariza wanted to stay with the lakers but when he was offered the mid-level amount of 5.6 mil, he viewed it as a "slap in the face" so he started to look elsewhere. the moment i heard that artest was coming to LA i texted all my laker buddies and said: "say goodbye to trevor"

short term, artest better for lakers,

                    long term, ariza was better
