Nicky: Thanks For Helping Me Win Contest
Nicky, thanks for all of the gambling knowledge you have given posters like myself who want to learn. Nicky I won the June contest thanks to skills you showed me. Nicky, you are blade sharp and respected by everyone on SBR and I just want to thank you Nicky.

Nicky did not feed me plays, lets just make that clear right now. I would have won by more than 2 units if that were the case, lets get serious.

    Thanks Nicky

onner, did you really win? wow.. and out of a field of 100 posters.. boys, did i tell you onner was a professional gambler? he is that good.. he did it all alone too. he stuck to it and kept his composure.. he didn't pick any games from handicapping and went by the book. I DID NOT GIVE HIM ANY PICKS.. he just stuck by the book..

boys, that is how you do it.. you boys should listen to onner more often. he is much sharper than 97% of you guys.. the kid knows how to win.. boys, like i said, it's not about handicapping. it's all about getting the biggest edge you can get on that closing line..

paver, you make me laugh.. if it's so easy just betting stale lines, why aren't you winning then? lol... why then is onner the only winner? think about it paver.. you have to be disciplined to win too.. not everyone can do what onner did and stick to this only.

good job onner.. you made me very proud of you.. CONGRATS.. keep up the good work and never bet a bad # again.. stick to this and you will do ok in life..

don't listen to anyone else here who tells you they are great handicappers who are not beating the closing #.... that doesn't exist.

onner, you deserve the credit, not me.. you know how many people in my life i have explained how to win and not one can keep up with it.. they give up after 2 bets then bet the NYY -280 the next day.. cause they like C.C..

doing it is another thing.. it is NOT easy.. tough to stick to.. but you showed patience and had great composure and you stuck by it.. that is one helluva accomplishment. good job, you deserve the credit, not me. teaching someone how to be a good swimmer is easy, but for them then to become great swimmers, its their credit.. you became a good swimmer by one simple explanation..

onner, did you notice hardly anyone came in and said good job, or congrats.. onner, no one likes to see anyone win..

I congratulated him... I'd like to learn more about this onner character and how he operates...

I remember he was with me on that Dodgers game. Where I said Kershaw would dominate the Angels and he did... You liked the Angels Nickay, but Onner loved the Dodgers... How did he KNOW they were gonna win?

Maybe I didn't win because I only spend 2 min a day in the contest submitting my picks right after LT posted the lines to be more realistic. I didn't realize I had to spend 12 hrs a day tracking line movements for 30 days in a row to win a $50 free play with 10X rollover.

I think you missed the point Nicky. I said I wanted to submitt my picks right after LT posts the lines to see how I fare in this "fun" contest. I went 36-27 in the contest meaning that I also made money with my own real money when I placed the bets in my book. Sure I didn't win the contest using your method but I learned that in real life gambling situations where you don't have stale lines I can beat the book.

Well done, OTW. You've finally learned the simplest concept in profitable handicapping. Now try doing it live. And then when you get cut and limited at all of the slow moving books...
