As an Oregon State alum, I have a simple method for determining the winner in CFL. You always bet the team with more Oregon State football players. In this matchup it's the Winnipeg Blue Bombers with three former Beavers, RB Yvenson Bernard, K Alexis Serna, and some other guy who wasn't as good as the first two.

Winnipeg +8, thank me later guys.

Winnipeg is bad and Edmonton is a very good team, the addition of Jesse Lumsden only makes them even better offensively.

In the CFL the clock stops after every play with under 3 minutes in the 2nd and the 4th qtrs, scoring 21 points in the last three minutes is not uncommon.

So is my under safe or are these teams likely to get it going offensively in the second half?

I don't think you have much to worry about with these two teams tonight, Edmontons biggest threat is out via injury.

Generally speaking CFL unders are never safe at the half no matter what the score is.

I follow it, there are only 7 teams so I guess its almost impossible not to know whats going on if you are paying attention.

I was 1-1 yesterday, had Hamilton -1.5 (Loss) and Montreal +8 (Win)

Bob, the weather in Edmonton and the prairies is unpredictable, the skies were clear before kickoff and it looked like clear skies for the game, then a storm blew into town and soaked everything, players are now having trouble staying on their feet.

Edmontons field is natural grass, the place is a bit of a mess right now.

today's game might in fact go under but generally you'll find them going over. It would be like betting under in a Yankees game in NY. Yeah, once in awhile you will hit the under but we know the Over usually wins.

if it did go into OT, it could have gone over the total. They play OT like the NCAA OT.
