#108That block in the back on the interception return did it. Too many penalties. Then you don't even take a shot at the end zone, playing for a FG in horrible weather. Typical Hue Jackson bullshit.
Both teams kept trying to give this game away. Neither one wanted to take it. 6 Pitt turnovers and you can't win the game. Frustrating.
Haley looks like he just won the lottery. Smiling and yucking it up with friends. What a shitty ending that should have been a win.Comment -

#117Originally posted by stealthyburritoThe Browns are +5 in takeaways today. Since the Browns returned to the NFL, teams with a turnover margin of +5 or better in a game are 132-4-1. The Browns are responsible for two of those losses and the tie.

Browns: 2-2-1
Browns got screwed by the refs today. There was no block in the back on the INT that got run back to the goal line. That call set up the blocked FG IMO. Bad teams seem to always get the bad end of the whistle and that's the Browns. Plus, Browns special teams was awful as well. Average ST play and reduce the stupid penalties and this would have been a win. But the big reality is that if Mayfield was playing, this would have been a win as well. What has to be done, should be done. I think I'm in the start Mayfield camp already. Tyrod was just so bad.Comment -

#121Amazing that so many smart guys here fail to see the big picture. Nothing to do about how smart he is. The CBA is a god dam joke. Take the year off. Someone will pay him 60 mil guaranteed next year which is almost 2x Pitt offered. Even counting the 14 mil he loses this year his body is healthy and he’s still up 16milComment -

#127This is not what the franchise tag was meant to be used for. It was supposed to help franchises keep their franchise quarterback, not hold the best non quarterback on the team hostage. Teams are using the franchise tag as a one way street knowing the players DON'T want to be franchised and nearly none of the teams end up signing the player they franchise because of bad blood. Needs to be for QB's only, the original intent, back when the Niners didn't want to lose Montana, was the only reason the franchise tag was created and now teams will throw it on any play DUE for a lottery sized pay raise.Comment -

fun fact. Gurley & David Johnson both got paid within a year of surpassing 1800 yards. Why hasn’t BellComment -
