I know some of you guys will say I'm a puss.......
I know some of you guys will say I'm a puss and thats fine. But I cant attend the bash. I am not healthy enough to attend. I have over did it the past few days and forced myself to walk 9 miles and now I can barely move. Physical therapy, injections, norcor and still a no. I am not a man anymore. I give up. No tough guy shit from me anymore because I cant back it up. Have fun and drink one on me. That I can still do.

This is total bullshit and I wish I was dead. To go from what I once was to basically being a phucking vegetable is unacceptable. The more physical activity I do makes it worse. Have fun and drink one on me.

There is something doctors can do. My old man had a broken neck and had constant pains, doc said if he broke 1 millimeter more he would have been paralyzed, he now has cadaver bones in his neck, Richie, surgery does wonders.

Thats what needs to be done, but my surgeon wants to ride the injections first which is fine. I can understand why they want to go that route first. Until I no longer can stand it he isnt cutting and I respect that. And thats not far off. I can only take a little more. It sucks. The only good thats going to come from this is about a 25k check which the lawyer is going to get his greasy hands in.

Whoa Richie - you still have time... Just take it easy for a couple of weeks and recharge your batteries and you'll be good to go. Forget the physical therapy and shit - forget the fukkin 9 miles and shit - just do what you have to do to be active throughout the day. That will be good enough. **** the nine miles BULLSHIT... Only YOU know what works for you... After a few days, that nine miles will be no big deal - it will be in the past. You gotta keep a positive open mind, man and keep moving forward with your daily activities. **** the past. Keep moving foreward pal... Plenty of chances coming down the pike... Just do what you need to do to keep somewhat active and you'll be good to go..

I have to do the physical therapy for the disability case. The last time it made it worse plus I had a fat chick every time which didnt help. Hopefully starting tomorrow its a hottie and I'll blow thru that shit with flying colors

Sorry to hear that Rich. I had my own Tile business for 5 years and I know wut your talking about. I'm only 27 but my body took a beating in those short ( very long ) years. My knees and back were killing me, especially when I did a job by myself and had to get up and down constantly to make cuts and set. I took some great advice from a friend of mine and learned another trade. I now do cabinetry and get to stay on my feet. It's amazing how physically taxing masonry work can be.

I wish you all the best in your recovery.
