    What are the odds?
I had both the Rays ml (when the blew a 10 run lead - http://scores.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=290525105) and the Red Sox ml tonight.

Both teams blew record leads to last place teams.

The Red Sox lost a 10-1 lead in the seventh, which hasn't happened in the last 10 years as far as I can see. The Rays blew a 9 run lead in the 8th.

The odds are just staggering. I've been on the wrong side of just about every epic collapse this year.

Well.. if you name me some other 9 or 10 run comebacks, I can tell you if I had them.

      uh... right.

I'm not being hyperbolic when I say I have been on the wrong side of just about every big collapse this year. I've got most of my picks recorded on another forum, including the two I mentioned and a couple of the other 6+ runs. It's pretty disgusting.

There's my pick of the Rays 10 run collapse:

And the Red Sox 9 run collapse tonight:

        Fun.

$200 last night.. a little less on the Rays.

Just so annoying. Everyone remembers the bad losses more than the lucky wins.. but I am pretty sure I only had one comeback this year of at least 5 runs.. and I've lost leads of 10, 9, and at least 3 others of 5 or more. Definitely running cold in the "huge comeback" games.

You are right, I know. But it's tough when you're going uphill and you keep losing games you thought you had won, but not vice-versa.

I'd probably be smart to just look at the final score and not scoreboard watch. A favorite loses by 1 run on the road.. no big deal.. happens every day.

                moving on

I learned my lesson and bet on the Orioles today.

Up 5-1 in the ninth.. no way I lose this one.

                      It's unreal. Every day.

Good pick on the Red Sox, everyone.
