This is not really gambling. It's grinding. And no matter how much Alfa wins, or even how he can get down, if you are a gambler you will find it a boring ritual fairly quickly.

Need self discipline and daily work ethic to do this. Not a gamblers mentality.

I realize now how my post sounds like a dumbass arrogance. So to clarify, yes it is a grind.

I myself have been a high volume bettor myself for many years. I am talking about 1000+ bets a month, betting every edge from 0.01% to 10%.

I just got burned out and low liquid markets don't interest me anymore and I have lost passion for this.

But no doubt, Alfa is doing a great job. Sorry for my dumb post before

Can understand that. Most regulars who pick winners around here would not last 2 months trying it seriously IMHO.

Using words like passion leaves me thinking you are a gambler at heart still btw ;-)

Betbangbooze, what made you stop if you don't mind me asking? Simply burned out and moved to higher stake/fewer bets or was it something else? Were you not making money with the grind?

Opportunity cost.
After some years I decided that low stakes are not worth the effort anymore.
But an important part of this is, that I am still kind of old school, I don't have an automated betting model for everything.
It took me a long long time to be able to bet really high volume every day.
If you have an automated model and maybe even a betting bot...fire away every edge at every minute as long as it's there.

I just decided at one point to live life a little more and it has made me a way happier person. But it was still worth it to give it my all for high volume betting at every edge. With a ''small' bankroll that is the smartest thing to do. Turning over the bankroll as many times and as fast as you can, as long as you have an edge

I understand. Not sure how small you'd call a few hundred per bet if you grind out several hundred bets per month. That still gives a nice turnover and income. Off course if you are betting 50+ games every day without days off you will get burned out much sooner. No bot here, everything through the phone and online, manually. I still enjoy it a lot.
