    my problem with 5DIMES
    fyi,

my account was on a delay.i barely played there. a few weeks ago i ask to have it removed. they say no problem, shell speak to technician and have it removed. i deposit a lot and get lots of freeplays but now i have a large rollover to go through and the delay is back. it was gone for about 10 days. i made it pretty clear in my 1st livechat i would only make a large deposit if i could get a bonus and if the delay is removed. they had no problem with this. now the delay is back and i have over 8000 in rollover to go through which is a pain. they say its managements decision and i need to personally speak to tony about the delay. if u wanna keep me on this 35 second delay fine. but an A book should not take it away so ill deposit large sums and then put it back on me.

email sent, let me know if you need any other information.

What bothers me is my wagering style did not change in the 10 days since my delay was removed. i have been with 5dimes i think for years and they knew how my style would be. they said i could have my delay removed just to get me to deposit. then they put it right back.

when i place a wager it takes an eternity, they say 35 seconds. it feels like an eternity. and in that 35 seconds the line almost always changes if its close to gametime and often even if its not. im not gonna lie, i use many books and always try to get the best price but a 35 second delay is so annoying its not worthe playing there. but i used the freeplays i got and have won thpusands so i have to complete this rollover but the delay kills everything

            Bubba-

A lot of sportsbooks put in an extra delay for "special" customers.

            Are you
            1. Chasing steam;
            2. "double-popping" them with the help of a friend; or
            3. Just a winning player?

while no one likes extra delays, it is within the a books' rights to decide how it will confirm or refuse wagers. If you think this has materially altered your agreement with 5Dimes (as it looks like you argue), you could ask for your bonus to be pro-rated, and withdraw your balance. If they did that, you "would be whole".

justin, i understand putting me on a delay. if i was a sportsbook i would put evryone on a delay. my point is that they should not have taken away this delay to get me to deposit. if i bet this best price on a game is that chasing steam? best price at halftime?
my point is i am doing no differnt than i ever did with them. they knew what kind of player i was and took away my delay just to get my deposit and now added it right back. i am defenitely not double popping them.

as far as being whole, they gave me a little over 1000 in free plays which i have won over 6,000 with. if i have only completed 1/5 of the rollover then i would get 1200 or something. doesnt sound fair to me. they are the big bad book and what am i gonna do. i will have to grind out the rollover with this delay. they did materially alter my agreement and i feel i have a right to my entire balance or to have my delay removed for the remainder of my rollover

I have a 5dimes account. Is there anyway for me to check if I have a delay, without placing a wager?

Usually, 5dimes doesn't award the bonus until it is earned.

In cases of "mutually agreeable termination" - where you and the book want to split ways, but rollover is pending, you return the equity of the bonus, win or lose. If you received a $1000 freeplay and only earned $200, you have $800 in "unearned freeplay", which has equity of $400. You would owe that whether or not your freeplay won.

u seem to be on there side justin. it doesnt bother u that they said 1 thing to get me to deposit and then changed the rules once they had my money?

when i first asked them to get rid of the delay the person on live chat said it was a technical issue and she will speak to the tech department to clear it up. nice BS that this honarable operation gives me. she should have said managements decision that u have a delay on your account end of story. there would be no problem right now if that was said. or she could have said we will temporailiy take waway the delay but if we dont like your style it will be put back. all i got was them saying its a technical issue. make your deposit, it will all be good.

I don't like your calculation for the equity of a freeplay. Perhaps this is true in the books dreams.

Actually isn't that a PLAYER's dream? Sell me a $800 freeplay at any book for $400 and see how much you think my bet is worth when I place it...

Bud, we're both saying the same thing. A freeroll is worth more than 50% of face.

I agree that for a good player, a freeroll is worth more than 50% of the amount. If you value a 800 freeplay at 600, the player has to lose more money. I gave this as an example that would be understood by the most people quicky.

I've seen lots of threads where people report lengthy delays at BetMania.

I'm not even a "special customer" at Bodog as I rarely bet there, but they have my prop bets on a delay and move the line a significant amount of the time I find a prop line I like.

Just about every book will. The difference is some only hold you up if you are bearding for the big boys, other shit books will put you on delay if you happen to come down on the right side of a few games.
