It was a strange interview. He boasted a bit saying how the other guy did not use his time outs right and he took advantage of that. There was an ex player interviewing him from the Bills and the Bills mascot that stood there clapping for him. You are probably right about the parents . Learn to lose gracefully. Not everyone does that. I was very competitive when i was younger. But if i lost i was gracious and used that as a way to see where i needed to improve for the next game. Not everyone does that.

I am a bit different when i have a lot of cash on the line. I go nuts if i have an Over and they blow chances or do something stupid. But that is different because i expect them to do what they need to in certain situations and when they do not i lose my mind . Like if you have an Over and they get bases loaded no outs and do not score. Stuff like that .

But actual games where have played someone i never have been rude or disrespectful. I always say "Good game" . I forget who it was but there was a tennis player that was getting beat but every other time he lost a point he would say "Nice shot" or something. The other guy ended up saying nice things back too i think he felt bad he was beating him so badly and he was so gracious. So when the guy did make a shot he would say something nice back. It was probably the nicest tennis match i ever watched. It was like Watching Mr Rogers play a Teletubby. Everyone was just so nice. I enjoyed seeing that.

I agree but not with pharmacological help. I think that is where a lot of problems are. Look at how many kids are on medication these days. Little Johnnie is a little hyper so let's drug him. Little Suzie just can't seem to pay attention. Let's drug her. I have a nephew who has been diagnosed with autism, mild. And I know how he can struggle at times. But I also think we are overmedicating kids.

Yup when I was growing up I don't remember any kids on meds.. They were hyper and got punished.. That usually straightened them out..

My older brother was extremely depressed when his wife died of cancer, he tried the happy meds and he told me that it made him feel weird and kinda dead inside.. He threw the med bottles in the trash and started training for triathlons.. The 30 mile daily bike rides did the trick for him.. Depression gone from massive cardio workouts. Cleared his mind and released those happy endorphins..

I think people that do hard drugs for long periods of time are more likely to deal with depression and mental issues also.. Can't burn brain cells daily thru hard drug or alcohol abuse like that and expect to wake up with a smile on your face..

the powers that be will never let that happen though
