Official Poster Of Month Awards for June
There were many worthy candidates that were in the running for June, the decisions were not easy to make. I was fortunate enough to have a wonderful panel which consisted of Tacomax & Teela to aid me with their votes in the decision making process.
So without further ado, I present to you the official June 2009 POM awards!
Best gambling poster: Brock Landers
Brock always has an energy about him with his "Rubberband" picks and strong leans. His opinions always seem to generate interest and create capping discussion, this is an award well deserved and perhaps overdue in my humble opinion. Thanks for all of your many gambling contributions to the SBR forum, Brock.
Best newcomer: King Revolver
Wow. 2,360 posts in June, this guy has hit the ground running and although his stats are high, many of his posts are entertaining and quite relevant to whichever thread King Revolver is contributing to. A well earned award for a newcomer I'm certain all of us are hoping sticks around.
Best entertainer: Pecos Bill
There may be some popcorn thrown at me for making this announcement, but my panel and I deliberated for less than 30 seconds making this decision. Pecos Bill made the decision for us. Although controversial at times, he has shown a remarkable ability to generate interest, create wild and sometimes over-the-line photoshops, and seems to fit right in with most of our other special posters. Congrats Pecos Bill for your entertaining style of posting.
All contestants can now message me with their mailing address so that a goody bag full of various SBR merchandise can be sent.
