Something I didn't know about CRIS
I thought I'd take out a dime, which was in the account before my initial deposit, thanks to BTP (and some betting activity). Turns out that the same money which I could have taken out before accepting a free play, is now locked in until rollover requirement on initial deposit is met. I bet up the account since making the deposit, and thought I'd put that pre-deposit dime (for which I received no bonus) somewhere else. I respect and appreciate CRIS, so was surprised to see them come up with this kind of BS. It's not about the money. Just didn't expect a classy book to rely on tricks. No need for SBR to step in. Just posting this so other bettors know which way the wind blows.

If you have money in CRIS account take it out before accepting a free play. If you don't, the free play locks it in.

I don't really care about that dime. It doesn't matter if it is in CRIS account or somewhere else. Just annoyed that they pull a BS rule over me.

Last time I checked, going the way of book2book transfers means you have to pick up Neteller fees from that point on (with books in question).

Probably my own fault for not reading the small print.

While I'm on the subject of free plays, I should mention Charlie from Wagerweb in a positive light. I had bet up a useless introductory $25 free play to about five or six hundred, when I realized that I was allowed to take out only $125. At this point it became riskier to try to bet down the amount, because with some bad luck it would turn into a few dimes that I could never withdraw. My only option was to bet it down one little mouse bite at a time. After some back-and-forth e-mails Charlie allowed me to keep the money if I deposited only a dime (with some rollover). That's pretty classy for a B book.

Lesson I learned from this. Just because it's an introductory free play, that doesn't mean you're not going to be at risk.

I know. I just didn't expect such a nitty-gritty mentality from CRIS. Especially since this book shaves a nice chunk of money off the top by rounding off every dollar in their favor. How many $100 bets a day would they take, on which they pay only $90 and pocket the remaining $0.91? That could run into the millions over a whole year. If you're going to round off, fine, but do it both ways. CRIS takes advantage from the knowledge that bettors don't care about loose change. And it really is a form of stealing.

Can you imagine someone going around town taking the change out of everybody's pockets?
Why is CRIS getting away with this? Personally, I'd rather give my change to beggars.

Dark Horse, Thanks for the info. I was just about to put in for a free play tonight then take my free Friday withdrawal tomorrow. Glad I saw this post, now I know to make my withdrawal tomorrow before the free play.

Not to be facetious but if winning $200 is such a problem don't play in the contest next time. Problem solved.

I don't think this is limited to CRIS. Most books basically treat bonuses, etc, the same way, don't they?

I still stay Pinnacle is the best, no worry about bonuses and whatnot, just reduced juice and you get that for every wager, no strings attached.
