With Nitrotv you also get over 150 local channels (NBC, CBS, FOX, ABC) from across the country. I think i have about 2800 channels on Nitrotv currently and they keep adding them.

I have smoothstreams and nitrotv subscriptions so I pay about $28/month. I cut the cord 3 years ago and I get EVERYTHING. All sports, all cable channels, and all PPV movies and events.

It has nothing to do with the books, they would want to show the locals. Basically the problem is Az, LAD, LAA, SD, SF, and Oak are all claiming Vegas as a home market. Not sure what regional sports channel actually is showing in Vegas (probably LA or Az), but only one can. This same issue is in Hawaii and Iowa, where 5-6 teams are claiming the area as a home market. MLB needs to change this.

A VPN will get you around it, or internet TV like Nitro TV.

I have family in Vegas and was going to buy next season as a gift. They're Dodgers fans and I figured since the Dodgers no longer can be seen locally in Vegas I would buy them a season so they can watch on their smart tv.

Much to my shock MLB blocks 6 teams from being shown in Las Vegas and they are:

Arizona

Dodgers

Angels

Giants

A's

Padres

You cannot watch these teams in Las Vegas from MLB tv because MLB considers them "Local" teams.

MLB is run by idiots. They talk about wanting to attract more fans and younger fans, but their blackout rules are ridiculous. I'm in Iowa - Cardinals, Royals, Cubs, White Sox, Twins, Brewers are ALL blacked out here.

The only disadvantage is you are a play behind if you are live betting, but the picture quality is outstanding. Unfortunately there are no LV local channels on it, but there are 180 US locals.

They used to black out the Raiders games unless they were sold out, then they would show them on TV.
