MLB TV is not for Vegas residents
I have family in Vegas and was going to buy next season as a gift. They're Dodgers fans and I figured since the Dodgers no longer can be seen locally in Vegas I would buy them a season so they can watch on their smart tv.

Much to my shock MLB blocks 6 teams from being shown in Las Vegas and they are:

    Arizona

    Dodgers

    Angels

    Giants

    A's

    Padres

You cannot watch these teams in Las Vegas from MLB tv because MLB considers them "Local" teams.

What a joke! What gives here?

Somebody needs to file a class action lawsuit and make the MLB redo their regional teams. If you're more that 100 miles from the stadium, you should be able to watch the damn game on tv.

Should have to do with local broadcasting not giving up the rights. Seems like those type of contracts have been going on forever.

But that local region Range describes is crazy.

I'll check what sports package came with my cox cable here in Henderson, nothing gets blacked out for me besides dodgers. Obviously that doesn't help your current issue with them being dodger fans. There's probably a dodger only package you can buy them.

There are some good no virus free streaming sites, I watch them on my mobile on a daily basis, no issues, every game free.
