Who decides POTM around here? (Poll)

Yes, Fiveteamer has gone off the deep end lately, but last I checked this was still his deal.

It seems that a PT scrub has tried to scoop up the honor of deciding POTM, with a ridiculous top 24 thread.

Who's decision holds more weight?

As much as I like JJ and Nicky, if Teamer has been doing this for quite awhile (new here so I don't know?) then he should continue unless he wants to give it up! It's like you had the Miss America pageant, now there's all kinds of them so the credibility of the whole process goes down the toilet! Nicky just started a stand/sit wiping thread so I guess the next step up is POTM decision maker! More I think about it, kinda makes alot of sense around here! King Revolver gets my vote if I'm allowed one for POTM!

As site historian, I find that sometimes it is necessary to re-visit the actual rules and guidelines for Poster of the Month which evolved from the first days of the forum. These came about through an organic process and have served the forum well for hundreds of years.

These are the official rules:



The Poster of the Month is decided by any frustrated or otherwise dopey shlub on the forum who feels like it. The recipient can be:

a) a close friend whom the shlub wants to stroke off

b) someone that the shlub feels will aggravate his foes

c) anyone the shlub is feeling kinda okay about at any given moment



In other words, both options in this poll are correct. If you don't like a chosen Poster of the Month, you can ignore it. Or discuss your reasons for dissent. Or just post one of your own. Or two. Or three.

These are the rules. I have done it a couple times myself. No one tried to stop me. If anything I have been surprised and amused by how seriously people have taken me.

June's POTM was decided once Kinger surpassed me in posts and climbed that to 500 ahead...

Perhaps for July, it can be a SBR poll who decides the top poster instead of one or two guys picking someone..
