Can You Chase Steam At Matchy
OK so lets say Pinny has -108/+100 on a baseball ML and Matchy has -105/+104

Pinny moves the line to -113/+105, how long will Matchy have the -105 available for? Is it possible to get it?

Can someone explain steam chasing at Matchy please...thanks.

Most people have bots doing it. Or are watching very carefully. You will not beat the bot to the move.

So the bots buy up all of the -105?

What if I'm betting like under $100 a game. Still impossible?

Matchbook doesn't care about the bots, or they don't know how to track them?

They don't care. Betfair encourages it.

Any offer that's left out there will get eaten up. Or the person offering it is automated and it gets taken down.

Yes, you can occasionally match smaller amounts (on all sorts of weird numbers) especially live betting when people **** up.

There is an API specifically designed to ease programming bots on Matchbook. I run one myself.

Most of the movement is simply changing lines by market makers with bots.
