I know the popular play is Doyers at -148, but with that # falling as the hours go by, its cause for concern. anytime Kershaw is that affordable, theres a reason. Ill go with my usual "fade the dumpster fire" that is the Baltimore Orioles. I bet Chris Archer any chance I can get so I'm rolling with the rays today. BOL guys.

#2Shocka is good at this.
In my contrarian play, Balty is starting to heat up.
It's tough to trust Balty.
Good Luck

#3I'm always a sucker for Kershaw, even though the chinks in the armor are obvious.
But you look.at his stats and he still almost never gives up more than 3 runs. But he never used to give up home runs and now guys keep ambushing him.Comment -

#9I gave up on them in early May, 1st time I ever recall a team being off limits for me but they simply terrible. Believe they were on west coast and I identified 2 games their starters were actually excellent and they still lost!! A 9 inning gem by 1 where they lost in extra innings and another where Cobb was great and it still didn’t matter!! Biggest group of losers I ever recall, no price is enough to back them as they invent new ways to lose daily!! If you find a game their starter pitches well then they score no runs, if the score some runs the starters suck, if the offense and starter are good then the pen comes in and blows it!! I’m all for betting bad teams but don’t know how anyone puts their hard earned money on these losers!! LolComment -

#11Yea it not like they one those teams who dumped salary trying to lose! At beggining of year I believe they had around 13th or 14th highest payroll! Just a bunch of losers!Comment -

#12Except that wasn’t what they were trying to do, had a payroll in the middle of the pack entering the season. Problem is the guys they chose to pay were pathetic losers just there to cash a check... when cubs and stros did it their payrolls were bottom of the league. Plus now that model isn’t going to work cause lots of teams trying it.Comment -

#13Likely Archer's last start with the Rays, he probably wants to give a good audition. That does not necessarily mean that he will, but just saying,Comment -

#21Nobody knows, there are like 12 teams interested in him!
Per Marc Topkin, who is THE authority on all things Rays:
...the teams among the most interested, such as the Astros, Braves, Padres and Yankees (who may have to pay a slight intra-division premium), have the inventory of high-end young major-leaguers and upper-level prospects the Rays would want. The Brewers, Cardinals, Cubs, Dodgers, Indians and Phillies are among others in a group of a dozen or so teams said to have expressed some level of serious interest.Comment -

Take the Padres, who could build a package around power-hitting outfielder Hunter Renfroe and one of their young catchers, either Austin Hedges or newly acquired Francisco Mejia.
Does not sound unreasonable.Comment -

#25I'd actually be ok with that. There's depth at both positions. I just do not want to trade any of our blue chip prospects.Comment
