Anyone see the new National Enquirer that should be at a grocery checkout near you by tomorrow. What will the headlines be?Geesh, they are going to have to put out a tripple size edition.Michael,Ed and Farrah,an Enquirer trifecta. This week for the Enquirer was equivalent to hitting the pick 6 at Santa Anita for the horseplayer.
Anyone ever read the grocery store checkout rags? From the late 70's to the mid 90's they were cheap and interesting with human interest stories. Now they are pricey with nothing but entertainment garbage news. You do have to admit though that they are right more often than they are wrong.Lots of tipsters at hospitals that need the extra $$$$ when some celebrity gets admitted.
My favorite was the white tabloid called World News that has the most bombastic stories. One from a couple years back was that the real Elvis entered an Elvis impersonator contest and came in 4th place.Mark my word, they will recycle that same story and just change the name from Elvis to Michael Jackson.hehe!
