    Positive Bodog CSD experiences
I have now dealt with BoDog's email csd, and telephone CSD.

When dealing with email, I received an automated reply, stating they received it, and would try to have a response within 15 minutes. 15 minutes later, there was an email response fully addressing my question.

When I telephoned them, the CSD rep spoke clear English. She understood the problem, even though it was very complicated (I have spoken to many CSD reps at other books who have trouble following even simple conversations). She quickly escalated my problem to management. Although the issue wasn't concluded (they need to get information from Bowman's), it was handled professionally and efficiently.

Note - this is NOT an endorsement for Bodog. It is simply a single positive experience.

Very, very good book for customer service, in my experience. Excellent in process (everyone speaks English and can be made to understand even moderately complex matters) and substance (I’ve always ended up with a quick and appropriate resolution of anything I’ve brought to their attention).

I’m also quite impressed with their willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty. Recent example: Bowmans recently closed up shop, and their non-American accounts were transferred to Bet365. (Well before this, their American accounts had already been transferred to Bodog.) I was concerned about whether the Bowmans NFL contest would continue. (After Bowmans jettisoned their American customers, word was the contest would continue, but with Bowmans now closing up completely, who knows?)

So I went to the Bowmans website, or tried to, but it redirects to Bet365. Next I called the Bowmans customer service phone number, but that too redirected to Bet365. So I explained to the Bet365 person the information I was seeking, and asked how or if I could still contact Bowmans or whoever is/was running the contest.

I was on the phone with her for a good twenty minutes, and I’m still not sure she ever grasped what I was asking. She certainly knew nothing of any contest, nor did the multiple supervisors she allegedly asked. As to whether it was still possible to contact Bowmans, she never gave me a direct answer on that. She just kept trying to find an account for me at Bet365 (utterly irrelevant to what I was asking her) and telling me I had to contact Bodog if I were an American (again, utterly irrelevant to the contest).

After she repeatedly, and pointlessly, urged me to call Bodog, I eventually did so, just on the remote chance they could tell me something. Bodog has nothing whatsoever to do with the contest, as they’d already told me a month earlier when they took over the Bowmans American accounts. So when I called, I fully expected them to reiterate that and that would be that.

Instead, the Bodog person put me on hold and actually investigated the whole situation himself. He talked to a supervisor, tried to access the Bowmans site, went to the Bet365 site and explored, etc., and ultimately was able to draw my attention to a link down the side of the Bet365 site that takes one to the Bowmans contest, which seems to still be in operation.

So let’s see. The site that was running the contest—Bowmans—seemingly disappears into thin air and cannot even be contacted. The site that turns out now to have the link to the contest--Bet365--is completely and utterly clueless as to the whole matter. But Bodog—a third party that has nothing to do with the contest—takes the time and effort to help me.

That’s pretty good, to solve another book’s problem for me. Above and beyond the call of duty.

Agreed, excellent CS. A very good reason why Bodog can quite often be the best choice out there for the small bettor.

BoDog might be the best at customer service book out there.

The majority of experiences I have had are the following with CS reps.

        1. Chest stomping men that think their tough and think they are never wrong.

        2. Chest Stomping men looking to hold my action on the side

        3. Chest Stomping Men thinking they run the book

        4. Females Clerks looking for husbands

        5. Female clerks sexually frustrated and take out on me

        6. Female clerks that cannot speak English

        7. Female Clerks looking for tips

I sent an email to Bodog CS on Sunday. Somehow in the confusion of taking over WWTS & Bowmans, they set up a "new" account for me, then subsequently discovered that I had two accounts: my regular old account as well as my "new" account. I got an email from them explaining that I cannot have two accounts, blah blah blah, so I sent them an email asking them to combine my accounts. I haven't gotten a response. I'm somewhat disappointed, but I've always liked Bodog in the past, so we'll see what happens when all of this dust settles.

I also rate their CS high. When I call, I always get a quick straight answer. One time when I emailed them to ask about rollover, I never got a response back (other than the automated response). But when I asked through online chat, they told me right away.

I really dont like email CS. I prefer live chat (best) then phone. One reason I like chat is that I can save the transcript, but I never felt the need to do that in dealing with Bodog.

I agree with bodog's customer service. I wish Betcris would take a page out of their book. Such a good book i dont know why they dont address that issue.
