Tonight we have the Padres vs Rangers, this game is being played in Texas with my buddy Ross on the Hill. He used to pitch here so he will be comfortable here, also The Padres have won six of his past eight starts. Also has a team record when Ross pitches of 10-5.
Ross did lose last outing on June 21 at San Francisco, but in that loss he pitched seven innings in which he allowed just one run. He received zero run support for the second consecutive outing and has worked five or more innings in 14 of his 15 starts, including nine quality outings.
Padres are under rated. Interesting also is Padres opened as a small favorite, now we can pound them as a small road doggie.
Now Rangers are throwing out AUSTIN BIBENS-DIRKX, he has a average era of 4.5, he also was not able to get 1 single KO last outing. Yet he did get the win against a weak KC team, yet got pounded by them earlier.
He should be well rested after 5 days off. Also Choo trying to get attention for the All Stars. Those 2 things concern me. Other than that Padres is the right play.
However Pads have NOT posted a line up yet. Need this to confirm first for a huge play!
