My little boy is starting show extreme amounts of energy , I am debating on Tennis or soccer .

I wouldnt mind baseball or Nfl but there really isnt anything like that in CR.

Tennis because its a sport of character and will develop his personality and boost up his confidence and soccer because its a great workout and a good mental sport.

Give him some time at both, and maybe a bit at a few other sports and see where he develops the most interest. Talented or not he's gotta enjoy what he's doing.

he loves soccer and I feel he could be a good tennis player.

Most people who know how to play tennis didnt like it until they played it . I hated it but 6 months after lessons i was into it

Dude, why would you teach a kid to play sports where he could injure himself? At that age my old man was teaching me how to pickpocket and steal from stores. Nobody ever expects a kid to do it, and he'll learn young how to work that little innocent expression. I say you teach him how to be a world-class thief and the world will be his oyster.

Soccer IMO translates well to other sports. It's a good game no matter how athletic.

introduce the kid to different sports and he'll excell in one if he's gifted.
My 7 yr old son plays basketball and football. right now he's a hell of a football player for a 7 yr old. He hates baseball just like his old man
