Tell your kid not to even join a sports team or risk getting injured doing much of anything athletic growing up.Just have him work on the fine art of the long snap constantly. Then once you make it to the pros, you are too valuable as a long snapper to play a position as a backup or on the special teams where you can get hurt.Talk about nice work if you can get it.Damn sports are getting so specialized that there has to be a summer camp somewhere put on by an ex NFL long snapper where all you do is long snap.Hell, women don't know that's all a guy does is long snap and you get as many groupies as a long snapper as anyone else on the team. You get these kids that were all state in Texas in 4 sports and they can run a 4 minute mile and break records long jumping, pole vaulting etc.and they don't stand a chance to make it to any pro sport. Then some slob that can long snap comes along and makes a career of it in pro sports.

I think the NBA should go to a designated free throw shooter too.Anyone ever see the computer nerd guy that shoots 99%?
