GF says Madonna would have made way bigger news had she died instead of MJ.

She thinks no one can be bigger than Madonna.. (she's a big madonna fan) and we know how big madonna was too...

Madonna IMO, mostly 'cause her reputation isn't as tainted as MJ's was. It would've been a bigger shock too... MJ started to decompose a couple decades ago, so his premature death isn't such a surprise.

Madonna because that would be even more shocking! Michael Jackson dying is shocking enough but the dude was strange and did have some health problems. Madonna seems to be fairly fit and healthy - so that would be more shocking.

Now - having said that - I don't think it'd have the lasting effect as Michael Jackson's death will have.

thank you to all of you who took part in this poll.. it came out just the way i thought it would.. i knew Madonna had nothing over MJ.. maybe women like Madonna more than men, i don't know.. but i predicted a 27-8 blowout, and it is now 18-8.. i was close..

madonna was up at 1 time 4-2 in the voting.. MJ went on a massive 16-4 run..
