My favorite song was Rocking Robyn. 40 years later and I still know all the words.

LOL...John it was 'Rockin' Robin', not Robyn.
Rocking Robyn is what I do every Sunday morning...if she's lucky.

Never been a fan of the J5 in the 70's. I was hooked up on ABBA as a kid. They were hotter than the J5.

All I know about him was Jackson 5 stuff, Free Willy Soundtrack, and my mom telling me she attended a few of his shows back in the 80's.

I watched the Jackson 5 cartoon in reruns as a kid. Good stuff that complemented my Lucky Charms nicely.

i love..... and still love these 2 classic songs..
1- I'll be there.
You and I must make a pact, we must bring salvation back
Where there is love, I'll be there
I'll reach out my hand to you, I'll have faith in all you do
Just call my name and I'll be there
2- Ben.
Ben, the two of us need look no more
We both found what we were looking for
With a friend to call my own
Ill never be alone
And you my friend will see
Youve got a friend in me
(youve got a friend in me)

Yep, Ben was I think from the soundtrack from the movie with the same title. Maybe his best vocal or at least at the time. It was a break out from the kids sounds I think he was 14 at the time. I saw Ben when it came out and im nearly the same age.

I heard Rockin' Robyn and my knees got weak then Bread pointed out that it was spelled wrong! Goddammit.
I love Jackson 5 songs...a lot of catchy shit. They were very talented kids...much better than those goddamn Osmonds. These Jackson 5 kids could dance, sing and play instruments! Plus, they had a Dad that could pimp slap you.
