Goodell woke up to reality? He didn't ban anyone from kneeling, he simply allowed anyone who doesn't want to stand to chill in the locker room. He basically said if you don't want to stand, go ahead but it'll be out of sight. Other leagues don't have that rule. If the people had spoken, it would have been banned in the NFL as a player to NOT be on the field and standing. You're getting mixed up.

Why is it so important to anyone to make sure that a player is out there standing for the anthem? Is it because you get a thrill out of forcing your will on another human being?
